Geomatics Yukon manages the Corporate Spatial Data Infrastructure (CSDI). CSDI includes those central, corporate services that support the collection, sharing and distribution of spatial data for the Yukon Government. It comprises the server hardware and software needed to implement those activities, the data in the warehouse (CSW) and operational environment, and the operations to support government-wide spatial data management. The CSDI is intended for use by all Yukon Government departments.
Geomatics Yukon recently completed a CSDI architecture review which recommends changes to improve performance and reliability of the infrastructure. The focus is now on implementing those recommendations.
