Yukon Imagery: Medium Resolution

Geomatics Yukon has created indices of medium resolution imagery currently licensed to the Government of Yukon. Imagery indices are available below as ESRI shapefiles in the Yukon Albers Equal Area projection and contain attribute information for each image including: date, resolution, ortho-rectification status, etc.

Indices for Medium Resolution Imagery:

  • Cartosat - panchromatic stereoscopic satellite imagery at a resolution of 2.5m.
  • IRS - panchromatic stereoscopic satellite imagery with a resolution of 5m.
  • Radarsat - panchromatic radar imagery provided at resolutions of 6.25m and 6.5m.
  • SPOT-5 - panchromatic imagery provided at a resolution of 5m.
